Description
Synthes 03.702.121S Traumacem V+ Injection Cannula for TFNA 1/EA • Model: 03.702.121S Maximize the stability of TFNA proximal femoral implants with the Synthes 03.702.121S Traumacem V+ Injection Cannula, a precision-engineered augmentation tool specifically designed for use with the TFNA system. This sterile, single-use cannula allows for controlled delivery of PMMA-based TRAUMACEM V+ bone cement through the side-opening window, enabling surgeons to reinforce the femoral head via helical blades or screws with confidence. Its secure Luer-lock connection ensures a leak-free interface with your syringe kit, while the included plunger lets you deliver cement even as viscosity increases. Crafted to integrate seamlessly into DePuy Synthes’ TFNA surgical workflow, the cannula features a rotatable sleeve that lets you fine-tune its length to match your selected head element — a full turn adjusts the cannula by approximately 5 mm. During injection, you can slowly rotate the handle to direct cement medially or laterally, optimizing fill and reinforcing critical zones around the implant. Imaging under fluoroscopy confirms correct positioning, and the cannula’s dual‑purpose design pre-fills with contrast first to check for leaks before cement is delivered. Safety is prioritized at every step. The design enforces a minimum 6 mm distance from the joint surface to reduce the risk of thermal injury, and real-time visualization of cement flow ensures clinical control throughout augmentation. Compatible only with the TRAUMACEM V+ Injectable Bone Cement and the sterile syringe kit, this cannula is intended for single‑use, reducing the risk of contamination and supporting efficient, sterile surgical practices.
